“The A.A. groups themselves ought to be fully supported by the voluntary contributions of their own members.”
- Tradition Seven of Alcoholics Anonymous (Excerpt)
The 7th tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous reminds us to pay our own way. We can only accept contributions from A.A. groups or individual members.
Our A.A. District is very efficient and very effective with our contributions with respect to carrying the message to the still suffering alcoholic and hosting events at the request of the A.A. groups as a service to our local A.A. community and to further our unity, “our most cherished quality as a society,” per the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.
